The only reason I give 4 stars is because I ordered a gray rug and received a black one. Otherwise, it's just the right amount of cushioning, and topographical features work well for me without getting in the way. As an unexpected bonus, the polyurethane slides very easily over the glass chair but doesn't move at all when you stand on it. I often sit/stand all day so I don't have to bend down and move the mat when I change positions.

Can provide excellent cushioning and comfort when placed at a standing desk. Front, side, and back strikes are good for massaging the feet and help change stance. There is enough room for multiple standing positions and even walking/swinging (I wear size 13 shoes so have large feet). For kicks, you can put one foot a little higher and after a while switch to a different standing position. The only downside to this mat is that the bottom is not non-slip. I have worn down the surface of a much lighter anti-fatigue mat I found at my work station in the office. It looked awful, so bad that I decided to buy it myself and got exactly what I wanted.
