My family eats a lot of avocados! We actually saw such a tool in a salad restaurant and went in search of our home kitchen. We use almost every day!

I love the quality and design of this cut, but it's too wide for the Haas avocados I find at the grocery store. It makes a mess and doesn't have a clean cut due to the poor fit.

I eat too many avocados, I just love them. This high-quality tool makes skinning and cutting a breeze. Using a simple cleaver, cut in half, pull the pit to the pit, hold the hoop by the large end of the avocado, and thread the wires through the fruit. Perfectly cut pieces fall from the skin onto your food in seconds. Rinse it out in the sink and you can put it away. I have more than one of these, at home, in my cabin and on wheels. I was looking for a metal avocado slicer to replace my cheap plastic one. I have the same problem with the wire end of this tool as I have with whisks. Why don't companies plug holes where wires enter tools? Food, bacteria and rot get in and there is no way to clean them. This is a joke product. The pitted side gets the first laugh when you smash an avocado in guacamole while trying to remove the pit. The slicer side is awesome when you get just the right size avocado. Correct size "very large". But not too big. It seems perfectly sized avocados are as rare as chicken teeth. More like avocado puree than a slicer. I've tried this a few times and unless I was making guacamole and I didn't want the avocado turning into a mush ball, it didn't make nice slices as shown in the picture. The instructions are pathetic and the video isn't even listed, not even on YouTube. What decent company these days doesn't have a YouTube video showing how to use their product? To be honest, it's better to get any of the 3-in-1 slicers, stoners and knives on the market and make all three.
