I ordered a finished shift knob and received two packs with no instructions

I ordered what I thought was one piece ready to fit. Just received it and had two packs, a regular black Convoy II Brody knob and a separate shift knob (shown with flames) with a separate nut. No instructions on how to install a shift knob and certainly nothing on the AmericanShifterCompany.com link and no one answers the phone and online help is "currently closed". I disassembled it but there is no thread to install the shift knob, I don't know what to do now.
