Excellent hose bib suitable for hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

I want maximum water volume on some of my hose bibs. I use a 3/4" hose and don't want the water flow to be restricted by the hose barb. This hose bibb ball valve has virtually no restrictions by opening and closing the water flow with a ball. The hose bib isn't that strong angled down like most hose bibs, which also means less restriction of water flow. The ball valve lever only rotates 90 degrees to fully open. The lever is long enough to be rotated easily. Traditional hose bibs require a few…

Loved it the first season

I loved it the first season but during the winter months (Wisconsin) it cracked even though the water was turned off and I drained the water. Turn before winter. I suspect I had a small leak through the check valve which must have pressurized the line over time. However, the line wasn't filled with water, so I don't think the valve failed. I need to take it off and examine it to see what might have happened. But it cracked on the side - next to the ball latch. UPDATE: I removed and inspected…

Valve works great, but if you can't hack anything, it's useless.

If the manufacturer cannot find the female thread, find another industry. Good rubber-nylon bushing or gasket, but a waste of time if you can't insert it into a female thread with just one turn. Every other attachment screwed onto the hoses with no problem, the 2 I bought didn't screw onto anything. The threads on the male end are fine, but never mind if nothing goes in, nothing comes out. Since writing the previous one I have received my 3rd separate order for 1 of these. Identical. Exactly…
