This shelf is well made and easy to assemble. It is perfect for my purpose of storing paints and other materials in my studio. For other artists, it easily holds 4 oz gold paints and mediums, as well as large 8.5 oz tubes of Liquitex Basics (as shown). Medium 8 ounce gold bottles fit *very* snugly, but I don't think I'd want to stuff them in there and pull them out regularly to avoid damaging the acrylic.
