🛏️ AMP Research Bedstep Retractable Bumper Step for Toyota Tundra 2014-2021 (Non-Resin Inner Structure Bumpers) Review

I bought this for my 2020 Toyota Tundra Limited. For those who say it was easy to install, I disagree. I broke two tabs on the upper bumper cover trying to take it off and tried very hard not to. I was only able to tighten 1 of the 2 bolts that attach the assembly to the frame. On the downside, they had no way of getting a torque wrench. I was lucky I tightened it. After it's done I can tell you that the end result is great. I really like the product and it seems to be very well made.

I had the same running board on my 2011 Tundra. I thought he felt a lot stronger when he was stepped on. This step has some advantages. The attitude towards it is also ridiculous. Dismantling your car seems superfluous. I can't understand why they couldn't combine the pitch with the pickup frame like they did in the old style. My husband and I installed this. The Revain description that says it fits the 2014-2015 tundra is misleading. I called AMP Research Technical Support and a helpful representative told me that part #75309-01A would fit my 2019 Tundra if it had steel bumpers instead of resin. I have a Double Cab, not a Crew Max, but the tech didn't ask which truck I have, so I'm assuming it will fit both trucks, ie with steel bumpers.
