. 2006 it fits but the top bracket didn't line up like the old one

I installed it on my 2006 Acura tl it fits but the top bracket didn't line up like the old one. First you need to install the bracket with it and then apply mounting pressure to the motor to make it fit. I am leaving another review on durability as it fits well now.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Repair

Error at 16k km. A costly mistake based on installation work.

I was told the product wore out after 12 months. Driven about 16,000 km and worn out. The original OEM lasted 120,000 miles. I thought they were OEM components (made my anchor) (Anchor 9247 and Anchor 9297) but apparently they aren't. Bad decision to buy them at the labor cost to install them on my particular vehicle. Anker 9247Anchor 9297Acura TL, one owner. Me.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Requires outlet

The part does not have the same shape at the base.

Ok this is a edit, the part is taller than the original (why only 4) and by Amazon standards it took too long (had to order twice). But once I lifted the engine, installed and aligned all the bolts, everything works great. Was there an issue with the TL shaking on take off and hitting bumps hard. I will order two more and replace them now. Maximum 15 minutes. Raise the engine!

Good price, easy installation!

Of the three brackets on my 2003 Accord V6, this was the simplest! I see a lot of comments about the mounting ear being "turned off" or tilted at the top of the mount, but that's exactly what it is! When removing, note the position of the top tab of the old bracket and install the new like the old. Mounting the new one to the motor mount first and then to the frame makes installation easier. I recommend this mount, it's been a few weeks and all the vibrations are gone! If anything goes wrong I…

Suitable for engine mounts

This part is classified as fitting. All of the screw holes appear to line up, and the tab at the top of the bracket appears to be clockwise. I have 3 years experience selling aftermarket auto parts and almost every engine and transmission made by Ancher is like this. The bottom line is if you need something that gets the job done and you don't care about vibration, installation complexity or part life, but want a cheap part to get the job done then this is the part for you, just put it on Don't

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So far so good

The misalignment worries me about durability.

Purchased to replace the passenger side engine mount on my 2005 Honda Accord 2.4 liter manual transmission. The bottom half of the bracket is exactly the same as the original bracket I replaced. However, I did notice that the top lip that attaches to the motor is turned up slightly compared to the OEM. After bolting it up there was also a 3/8" gap between the mounting tab and the motor mount. I thought maybe I had the mount back to front so I rotated it 180 degrees and the gap got even bigger…

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Slightly torn
