First of all, I love Anker products. I have 2 of their 3ft and 6ft braided nylon cords and 2 of their chargers. They all fit perfectly on my phone. I wanted to leave 3 more cheaper cables in different places. These cables are quite thick so probably can handle higher currents than regular cheap cables. However, they are also very stiff and do not bend or straighten well. I opened up one of these cables to make sure the quality is indeed what Anker claimed. I can tell you that the +5VDC cable is huge compared to the regular USB cables on the market.
