I like the form factor and size of this reader. It's great not having any cords as nothing can scratch or damage my iPad. Unfortunately, contrary to what another reviewer has mentioned, this reader is very slow and can get very hot. No strap hole! There is no way to attach a binding - neither a lanyard nor a strap after I've noticed. I bought it to transfer images from cameras to my phone or tablet for editing or sharing on the web; but without a belt I will not use it for its intended purpose in the field. It allows you to transfer things so that part is ok but as it is I will only use it when I get back to the car. Or find a table to sit at. FINAL: OK, I went ahead and used a card reader upside down with a tight fit. With 2 cards it worked. When I inserted the third data card, I was told that the card was unreadable and needed to be initialized. Luckily I was able to pull it out and plug it into another card reader which now allows me to copy data from it. I'm done with this reader. It just doesn't work if you have a heavy, long, thick phone case. I have one of the Defender phone cases and it cannot connect to the phone. You have to remove the thick heavy case to install it. It would be so perfect if you could take photos outside your house and view them instantly on your phone and also add them to google images from your map to your phone.
