I got this because I have a PlayStation VR and I would like to plug it in and leave it, but that's not possible. Since I'm running an external hard drive that needs to be plugged into the back like a VR camera. Well, this adapter doesn't work with my Turtle Beach headset and it distorts the audio, so in my case there is no extension of the USB ports used.

The USB hub works as advertised but does not fully engage as expected. It somehow just hangs on USB ports and wobbles a lot. Also note that if you're buying this hub to work with PSVR, unfortunately it doesn't support PSVR connections, nor external ones. The hub is very easy to use. Just plug in and get started. And when it works, it just works well. I never lose connection while playing or anything. The problem I have is that when I turn on my system it doesn't always connect. Sometimes I have to unplug and plug it back in a few times for it to work. Once that happens, it works fine from then on until I turn the system back on. So this leads me to believe that the hardware connection is not the problem. I thought it might be a software issue…
