As other reviews have said, this works well until it stops working. It might work better if your dog doesn't use coercion like I do. It definitely has a bitter taste and I reckon the product is safe for my pet, furniture etc but obviously nothing could stop my dog from licking his paws. I'm guessing my dog was chewing furniture out of boredom, that might work better. But then again, if your dog is struggling with a compulsion to lick, bite, chew, it probably won't help.

We have an 8 month old lab bitch who chews very efficiently. She may be happily busy with a bone or a toy when suddenly a blizzard of stuffing erupts in less than a minute.
