Take your time and be patient! I've repaired $35-$50 ICs many times. This inexpensive kit worked great. The pot mark is invisible. Also, the repair kit includes 5 clear plastic sheets that I used for small chips. My Tacoma's windshield looks brand new. I'm a lucky tourist. Highly recommended. I carry an extra set in my tool box on board.

I did not expect this product to work so well. I had a large chip/crack - it didn't move but was about the size of a nickel. Give yourself time to get it right. Take your time. because it works fine. Not 100% of course, but I would give a good correction of 90-95%. That might not sound like much, but just think of the price of this product compared to the price of a new windscreen! Definitely recommend.

My wife's rental car was hit by a small piece of gravel while driving on the freeway, leaving a very small but still noticeable chip on the windshield. Shortly before the handover I bought this repair kit and it worked great. I couldn't say anything was ever wrong! Very happy with the price and the instructions. I wouldn't want to do it again due to the obvious events that would lead to the purchase, but I would buy it again!

The adhesive pad (both) included in the package has creases that make the adhesion on the car glass and the plastic part not perfect because the crease does not create a vacuum seal at the first time. The second time I had to put in a lot more effort to make sure it was sticking as flat as possible, to the point where I was concerned that any further force I applied to the glass might cause the glass to snap of the chip breaks. Also, the repair liquid is weak, so it doesn't stick well.

The instructions were a bit confusing - it would be helpful if they explained why they are making you follow the different steps. I had a small 1/4 inch hole that was starting to tear noticeably. I washed the glass with alcohol before applying either of the two pieces of tape used to attach the windshield. Due to the extreme angle of my windshield (2010 Kia Soul) I would suggest placing the damage closer to the bottom radius of the tape.
