We really like this monitor - we just wish we could buy a bigger monitor just because it's a gaming monitor, so why not? But the monitor is fantastic and sharp. Curves help to see when playing. As well as this one my daughter has a flat screen for streaming and chatting and we flipped it over to see the difference and it wasn't long before we went back to this curved monitor! The colors are great and the graphics are great too.

The monitor alone is great. I remind you that when using DisplayPort this is 144 Hz. Not HDMI or DVI, if you use HDMI or DVI you get 120Hz. For the price its NUTS. Crystal clear and no problems out of the box. The only problem I really have is the power outage. You have to hold the button down for 5 seconds (feels longer) for it to turn off. I love everything about this monitor: the looks, the colors, the refresh rate, the brightness and the performance. It offers all the features I was looking for at a great price. For those who don't know, Aopen is an Acer company. Just note that this is a 6-bit panel + FRC. GSYNC works as expected, not officially supported but works fine.

Arrived on time, great monitor. My only complaint is that they combined the shutdown button/menu. You have to press this button for 5 seconds to turn off the screen and during this process you will often be taken to the menu. Otherwise worth buying.

The monitor overheated and broke in just a year of use! I called AOPEN support, explained what happened and the tech opened a ticket. Then the technician advised me to send it to AOPEN/ASUS repair center. After it arrived another repair center technician contacted me and said the damage was my fault! You cannot set up this monitor directly. It sits at a 45° angle and doesn't straighten, requiring you to bend down to see the screen. He sits at such an angle that he could fall over if someone passed him too quickly.

This monitor is by far the most disappointing I have ever used. My DP or HDMI cables do not connect reliably to this monitor because the power save feature turns off the monitor before it can connect. The same cables fit my TV perfectly. Disappointing aside, I think you get what you pay for.
