Beware! 3 Units: All switches failed after 3-4 months of daily use

It looked like a good way to do this to have the main switch on top of my desk with all the cables underneath. The clamp was also quite strong. I use it daily to turn off my monitor/computer/speakers to avoid low power consumption. I've used 3 of these surge protectors before and all 3 failed the same way (2 USB-A + USB-C devices and 1 USB-A device). The switch has failed on all my devices - they all started buzzing, crackling or shorting out after about 4-5 months of daily use. I contacted the

Won't charge MacBook Pro via USB-C

When I charge my MacBook Pro via USB-C, my computer won't charge! The computer makes noises like it's being charged. The battery status at the top right of the computer menu shows that it is charging. but actually it doesn't charge my computer. This will be my second session of theirs so I'm pretty sure it's not just a one off thing. I was disappointed after a second device saw that my computer's battery level was actually wrong, even though the indicator showed my computer was chargingโ€ฆ

Works very well

This power plant works great for me. I have tried several other devices with and without clips but this design is great as it fits perfectly in the back of my desk which stays tidy. I ordered a second one and now I have all the equipment connected to the UPS in one station and in all others. at the second station. a spring-loaded lever inside that keeps it "attached," rather loosely attached to the table. I ended up adding a small piece of tape to secure it even more as I often walk around theโ€ฆ

Designed to be versatile but has very limiting flaws

The overall performance is very good and I have no complaints about the quality of the product. However, as interesting as the product seemed to be in my mind for a home office setup, I was a bit disappointed in its versatility. Plan A) Attach to the table: I'm using a vintage table that I like, but as a real piece of furniture, the table was too thick for a power plant. Plan B) Attach to monitor stand. Well it can go there, but I lost access to one side of the stubs (-3 stubs) and became aโ€ฆ
