Works perfectly! suitable for boating

Used to replace the old incandescent tail light from the same company. The screws are on top, much lighter than the ones I replaced.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long haul

No suction on boats and when sailing

Bought to suck on an inflatable fishing boat. Vacuuming does NOT work on ANY surface. The light works well but not for what I bought it for.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Well designed and built

Fairly sturdy for plastic, this little stern lantern has brackets to mount it your way: clamp, suction cup, low or at the top of a short pole. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Security

Safety is very important in sport.

I actually thought the product was perfect, powerful LED and lots of mounting options. Safety light for occasional night kayaking on the boat shown in the picture.

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons

Falls apart every time I hitch a boat or .

Constantly falling apart every time I hitch the boat or if there are any disturbances. The three-part handle or mast included in the scope of delivery falls apart because the brass plugs used fall out at random. it's a piece of junk. The lens for the light also seems to point more vertically than horizontally.

Pros
  • Probationary period for one year
Cons
  • Frequency

I think it will be good if I use some petroleum jelly for suction.

When I first used this, the suction cup lost its seal and the whole thing fell into the water. If I didn't have a line around it, I would have lost it. I bought a similar onion product (same company I think) with green and red light. The suction cup on this one also lost its firmness but I had a line on it again so I managed to restore it. I think it will be good if I put some petroleum jelly on the suction cup. Other than that it seems well made and I think it would be great for my purposeโ€ฆ

I bought this flashlight because I'm fishing for nightfish. The stern light that comes with my boat always bothers those fishing from behind. I mounted a light with a tether on a Yamaha 150 in case it wanted to fall at high speed, not even 55mph. It does its job well when its back is pushed out of the way and can be seen for miles. It's almost too bright light but it's behind the fisherman and doesn't affect the black lights, my partners are very happy with my choice! Again, it holds up wellโ€ฆ

Excellent, improved over the large Aqua Signal tail light

Price aside this is a great light and in every way an improvement over the large Aqua Signal which I have owned for several years. It's just as bright, maybe brighter, but smaller and more compact. The suction cup is more complex, there's a carabiner at the bottom, and the battery compartment is big enough to fit all the AAA batteries I have without being tied to the sides (the old flashlight sometimes had trouble with big AA batteries). The switch is flatter in the rubberized area instead of a
