Thin legs don't get in easily

The size is right, but the hole is too small. My left leg, which is very narrow, cannot enter without being injured. I have about 6 women's shoes and size XS is not possible. Also, I don't like how uncomfortable it is at the top of the leg as the design doesn't work for everyone. The material is amazing but they should have a design like other regular fins. *Please note that the used one I ordered at a very low price is brand new. I believe there are many like me. I'm glad to know that Revain…

Comfort has gone down.

I have been swimming in circular and/or open water most of my life. I've had 3 pairs of these over the years. You are unbelievable. In a league of their own. Soft, supple, gentle, extremely comfortable and powerful. HOWEVER, and this is a big issue, they've recently reformulated the plastic - and they're much, much stiffer than the older versions. And while the trade-off will likely be durability, comfort comes at a tremendous price. I hope they break soon but right now I have blisters. And…

Good fit but uncomfortable fit. return today

I like the shape of the ribs, they improve performance. But they are uncomfortable/painful to put on and even take off. My shoe size is 6.5/7 and I ordered the small (men 6-8/women 8-10). They feel very tight, especially at the top of the foot, making them uncomfortable to wear for long periods. It's a shame because they can be a really great product. I hope that the design and the material (which is a bit stiff) will improve over time. I'll be ready, but she again when the fits feel good. For…

It takes a little getting used to, but it's worth it

These fins are very buoyant, so they can shift your position in the water and make you feel inefficient or uncomfortable when you first put them on. Keep using them and you will instinctively adapt. They are very soft where they come into contact with the skin, so they won't rub no matter how many hours you use them. Their design is ergonomic, so once you get used to it you will ride much faster. Walk into any public competitive pool and you'll see that more top swimmers are wearing them than…

Now smaller in size and shape

This is my third pair of Aqua Sphere Alphafin Eva Foam fins (men's size 8-9). I've swum hundreds of miles with the previous two couples (I live in Kona, Hawaii). I love her. However, these new fins are about 2-3 inches shorter and are now labeled "fitness fins" on the packaging. Here's the problem: the leg pockets are definitely smaller and maybe even shaped differently. At first they were snug (which I expected from a new pair) but they were really snug and cutting into my toes, feet and…

The size is right, but there's a catch

Ultra light, good motor, nice design. As for the sizing issues and foot cramps mentioned in other reviews, here's my take on it: true to size. I wear women's size 9 and small is the right size. The small size fits snugly around the ankle and I had calf cramps so I bought a medium size to compare. My foot hovered around. Here's what I found as a defense: I put my flippers on the shallow part of the pool and stuck my feet in the flippers as deep as I could, using the bottom of the pool for…

Bad service, lack of flexibility and reasonableness from the outside.

I am 10.5ft tall, put it on correctly and the strap broke twice. Especially with the second pair, I was scrupulously careful not to stretch too much when putting them on. The tear formed in exactly the same place as the first set but on the other leg (the first tear on the right fin and the second on the left fin of the set tear on the left. I had relapsed 5 days after the 30 day time and I had to "eat" $40 loss I used them twice before the crack happened The crack happened when I first put…

Recently changed size and is now too big

This was my third purchase of fins. I'm women's size 9 with shoes. In the past I have always bought the Small size fins and they have worked great the first two times. Now with this last purchase they are too big. I didn't try them until more than 30 days had passed since I bought the fins so the problems I encountered were too late to return them. To be safe I ordered a second pair of small ones just to be sure it was a defective pair and not. Another order was too big. There were times when…

I have arthritis in my lower back and I have a hard time swimming because I can't use my legs. I've tried several other types of fins and my back hurts more using them than swimming without fins. However, the Aqua Sphere fins were amazing. They are characterized by the fact that they swim. Thanks to their buoyancy, they keep my feet above water even when I'm not pedaling them. It's almost like swimming with a buoy, which also takes the strain off your back. I'm still making adjustments to my…
