This set is flimsy, difficult for a child to use and the end results fall apart if you're not extremely careful. You can't even create something using your imagination instead of a template. I doubt there are really 800+ beads and the applicator broke after just one try. I finally got it to work again. I ordered this as a gift twice because the first time the box came damaged and not packaged inside a shipping box. It happened the second time as well. I should have read the reviews before…

My daughter was gifted this item. The container makes it difficult to keep all beads of the same color in each compartment. The instructions are unclear. The final product is flimsy and falls apart easily. The idea behind it is good but delivery was poor. If it wasn’t a gift we would have returned it.

I am very disappointed in this kit where do I even begin the images are very hard to see with the screen to put the balls on and to get the balls out with the pen is super difficult that they end up bouncing and mixing with others balls overall not a great kit

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. It is way too advance for her age. I would say 6+ years old would be a more appropriate age. My daughter loves the final product but is not able to do any of it herself. It uses very fine motor skills. Overall though, it’s a really cool gift.

My kid loves these. We started with perler beads, and that was cool. But this one allows them to do it themselves, from start to finish. Skills being practiced so far: organization, planning, following patterns, counting, fine motor skills, using a timer (to wait for the beads to dry), use of spray bottle. It's fantastic all around.

My daughter LOVES perler beads so I thought this would be a fun change. Sadly, they are just frustrating. The little tube to pick up and deposit the beads is incosistent and hard for little hands. The beads are so small they need precise placement. Might be good for older kids, but even I got frustrated with it.
