I love the light reflection in the sand. It is bright and makes my fish tank unreal. I poured sand into my tank after my tank was already set up with fish and water in it. None of my fish died, the aquarium was cloudy for about 20 minutes but it cleared up soon. My fish love it and it's a freshwater aquarium.

I needed fine sand for my Opae Ula shrimp tank. It looks beautiful in the tank but was IMPOSSIBLE to flush! I've washed and rinsed a dozen times, more than other brands I've used. I rely on my sponge filter to get it crystal clear in a few days. Time will tell if the extra effort was worth it!

I have had many seawater tanks over the years and have gone through many different types of sand. This was my first purchase of this brand. I'm very satisfied with this product. If you want the benefits of real oolite sand and/or like really fine "sugar" sand I would recommend this sand. This is a very smooth and thin strain - consistent. No big chunks.

I started a new reef tank from scratch. No living sand or living rocks. I wanted to try it based on some other reviews. This sand is wonderful. It's very good and the light looks great in an aquarium. Some say it helps maintain PH levels in the tank. It's not that easy to clean, but if you're careful it's not that bad. I would definitely buy it again and maybe consider mixing it with other live sand.
