I needed a new pump because our old one was very old. saw it. I thought. Yeah right. OK. but one reviewer said it's very quiet, so I decided to give it a try. That's great! It's quiet here, almost no noise, and the fish are happy.

This thing is quiet! I have 4 nano shrimp tanks and the bubbling is louder than the pump unlike my previous whisper pump which was vibrating like crazy. It's probably a little overkill for my setup, but I can always fix it, as long as it's very quiet, which is hard to find.

In general I like the pump. My only complaint is that it's not very powerful for a dual pump. I turned the setting all the way out and the 2 sponge filters have almost no power. I liked the idea that I could adjust the power initially, but when I turn it down the filters don't work. It's very quiet and a bit oversized for a pump, but that's to be expected reading other reviews.

This product is much larger than I expected. Be sure to check the size of the item. However, the old one I had was noisy and one side didn't work, so I decided to give it a try anyway. Very glad I did. Easy installation would be nice if it had 2 hoses instead of just the one you're supposed to cut in half. Especially super quiet. Most of the time you don't even hear that it works. Overall very happy with my purchase.

OMG, LOVE LOVE LOVE! The description said silence, but I had no idea what silence really was! Our last pump drove me nuts, but it was expensive, supposedly quiet, and required 2-3 30-gallon tanks. Didn't let me sleep at night even though we kept it in the closet, on top of giant pool noodles so it wasn't as reflective. To the right! Plugged this in and had to test if it actually worked, it was so quiet! Let's get another smaller one for our smaller tank.

Just installed. There were no instructions, so I'm not sure if everything was included. At the same time, I bought a bubbling "volcano" and used the included tee to connect it to one of the included 2" bricks. I connected the other included rock to its own tube (the tube that came with the volcano). It seems to be working at the moment so apart from the lack of instructions it seems good. It's very quiet which is why all the other reviews say it's correct.

Love the fact that this pump actually does what it says it will. I recently bought a 100 gallon Tetra Whisper air pump which was definitely not quiet. It drove my wife and I crazy because the tank is behind the sofa where we watch TV. This one is wider than most but not as high and lets more air out, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. But the best part is that at full power the bubble flow is louder than the pump itself…

First I have to say that thing is huge! In fact, you should pay attention to the characteristics next time. Not really a complaint, but compared to my other pump, this thing is almost twice the size. But for the size, the thing is almost silent. I have one outlet that connects to my artemia plant that is in my tank and the other outlet goes to a bubble rock on the other side of the tank.
