Inaccurate thermometer, not worth it

This aquarium thermometer did not meet my expectations. As my TESTS showed, the temperature readings were consistently inaccurate and not reliable .It was frustrating to have to guess the correct temperature for my aquatic creatures. Plus the overall quality and appearance of the thermometer were disappointing for the price. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable thermometer for their fish or amphibians. Stick to more trusted brands for your pet supplies..

Precise and perfect for my tank!

I have a betta in a 5 gallon aquarium. I already have a hanging thermometer, but I wanted to find something I could attach to the outside of the tank for easy and accurate temperature readings. It's perfect for that. You just stick it to the side of the tank (I stick it to the top edge, just below the waterline) and then press on the bottom where the 'on' symbol is to read the temp.
