Having recently graduated from college I don't have the opportunity to spend a lot of money on the highest quality tools. This hammer has held up well and I expect it will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Don't expect this hack any time soon, that's for sure.

This hammer has been little used and seems to be holding up the steel quality/heat treat well compared to other cheaper hammers I've used which get dented and nicked every time I use it what - hit her. (Harbor Storage) It looks like a heck of a lot of green and black and for the low price I couldn't do without it.

The appearance of this tool does not correspond to 5 stars. I love the texture and color of the pen which is why I bought this one. However, the rubber pad is not clean. There are casting residues on the edges and the paint on the head is uneven and has flaked off in places. It works, but it's not pretty.

Seems good quality but. The hammer is slightly off-center and therefore unbalanced, making it a bit awkward to use. Also, this $10 hammer only shipped signed for by UPS, which was pretty ridiculous. I missed it the first time and had to schedule the driver back. It would probably be easier to go to Home Depot.

The size of the heads is as you would expect from the photos of the product and is true to the weight stated on the product name. The rubber grip is just right, there are no defects. There is no reason to expect the rubber coating to peel or crack. That's not a lemon, trust me. Certain jobs require a machinist's hammer, and that's the kind of tool that fits

I use ball chisels mainly for hitting chisels and shaping various metals. The bullet end on this one is shorter than the others I have - the bullet is right on the head. There is usually a section of steel between the head and the ball. The result is a shorter and more compact head. The green handle stands out and is very comfortable even with wet hands. No complaints.

I have a lot of hammers. Blacksmith's hammers, my faithful master, 22 oz straight claw. Curved claw, hammers, wood etc etc. I needed a ball head hammer. I have to clean the metal. I felt cheap. So I got this guy for $10. That's a good hammer. Quality steel, excellent grip. Good shock absorption. I wish the bullet end was bigger. but really. great price for a hammer. I'll beat him to death for years. Buy it.
