Used to be my favorite thermal paste.

I used this for everything. CPU, GPU, Northbridge, Southbridge if needed I used it. A very reliable thing if not used too much. I used too much on the Phenom II X4 once and later removed the heatsink and found it dried out and burned out after about a year of use. It wasn't powdery or moonsandy, but you could tell it wasn't as wet as when it was applied, and there were gray stains from the burn. Not a bad thing. I was surprised at how tiny the tube was, only about 2 inches including the bulb. I recently ordered a very cheap pasta from China, 30g for only two dollars. This was normal for low TDP hardware like my AMD Athlon II dual-core processor and my Geforce 210 in my HTPC, but I recently got it on my gaming PC's processor. My gaming PC now has an Intel Xeon w3690 @ 3.4 GHz processor with 6 cores and 12 threads and a TDP of around 180 W. This thing puts out a lot of heat, with the…

Effective, safe, easy to use!

I have used Arctic Silver Ceramique for many years as it offers a great combination of performance and value and I was pleasantly surprised that Arctic Silver updated it. In terms of performance, Ceramique 2 appears to be slightly better than the original, although it still falls short of the best silver-based thermal interface materials. Absolute thermal performance isn't everything though, and what really sets Ceramique apart is the fact that it's electrically non-conductive and…
