Perfect fit for my daughter! CHECK THE SIZE CHART! My daughter wears an 8 which is mostly average. I've ordered a small one and I'm sure we'll be getting out of them for at least another year! The attached breastplate is such a great feature that it seemed to take a backseat. My little one plays quite a bit and never has to worry about snow or drafts coming through the bottom of her jacket.

I didn't understand what was in the photo. I returned and repurchased the product hoping to receive the correct product. They are similar but not the same. The one in the photo shows a slimmer fit without front pockets. What I have is a slim fit with two front pockets. Other color styles are more suitable, so I didn't buy them. Today I received two pairs for my boys aged 6 and 8. The boys are both slightly larger and one is usually a size 7 and the other an 8. I ordered them a size down as per the reviews recommended. When the guys tried them on today, the legs were too long (3-4 inches) and the waist, even when completely relaxed, was too tight. It was perfect for what we needed! The fit was just too big for my kid but I expected it and wish she could get more than a season out of them. They wick moisture well and keep you warm (for an afternoon ski lesson and a two-hour snowmobile ride in the mountains). She liked the velcro on the shoulder as it made it easier for her to get in and out of bed when she needed to go to the bathroom etc. They seemed to hold up well even for a very active 5 year old. We've only used her for 2 days so far

These are really good snow pants! I ordered the medium size for my 9 year old son. He has a slim build and usually wears size 8 pants and a size 10/12 shirt. The median was too long. So we had to return them and are currently awaiting the arrival of the size Small. Apart from the length, they fit him perfectly. I am also ordering a pair for my 6 year old daughter once we get the small size to try on. Good quality and they go well with his blue kiltek jacket. Let's see how they grow and survive…

I am giving these 5 stars because my son liked them a lot and basically wore them out. After ordering these pants we found his other winter pants at Wal-Mart and I tried to get him to wear them at home and these were reserved for school. But he only wanted to wear that! There are Velcro straps on the shoulders so the child can pull them up like pants and then close the top. The son complained that he himself could not attach his shoulders.
