I'm a huge fan of Arctix coats and had no idea they made shoes so I grabbed these for my 6 year old daughter. We ordered size 13 and that's what we got. They fit her perfectly and leave room for thick socks. My kids practically live in the snow, so I try to store 2-3 pairs of boots per shift. They are good for turning. The fit is true to size. Lined inside to keep my 6 year old's toes warm. The outside is waterproof to keep snow out. There's a bungee cord at the top to hold our snow in place when he's cinched down, and we also pull his winter pants over his boot to keep the snow from getting in there! Great shoe for kids!

I bought these for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas and waited to check until she wore them. It's been snowing here for the past few days, so she wears them all day, every day. She'll go out to play and come back in soaking wet, but her feet are warm and dry! Even wet socks! Inside the lining is fluffy, how fluffy, maybe a Sherpa? I don't know but it works! Thanks to a recent snow storm, I was finally able to test these boots. My 3 year old daughter is now a size 9-9.5 and a size 10 fits. A little loose, but quite wearable. She didn't complain at all. The top is tightened with an elastic cord to keep snow out. There is a strap at the ankle that secures the fit of the boot. They also have good grip. Overall they seem well made. We were in the snow for several hours at a time and had no problems. would recommend.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the stitching began to fray with little use - my son had this after a week of use. I've since found out that this is the way my son used to take his boots off (he stepped on a boot to force it off) which probably ripped the stitching, but if they're meant for kids' boots, the durability is for one " Child". Before I put them on my son, I reached out and groped for a huge bulge. The material down inside was complex. With some work I managed to get the sole back into the sock and make the crease just a little bulge and try to glue the sole back to the bottom of the boot (where it should have been glued). I think it would still be uncomfortable with less of a lead, although my son hasn't complained when wearing it. Glue that has come off the sole before you put it on is a sign of poor construction. I

These are good winter boots. They are waterproof, although the bottom is rubber for added waterproofing. In addition, there is an elastic drawstring at the top of the boot that can be attached to the child's foot to prevent snow or water from entering the boot. There is also a Velcro strip on the underside of the boot shaft (e.g. where the foot and lower leg meet) which can be tightened to prevent the boot from falling off. The boots are described as being waterproof and the boots even have a tag indicating they are supposed to be waterproof. My daughter wore these boots to school and when she got home the boots were soaked and her feet were wet. I would not recommend anyone to buy these boots.

Bought for my 2.5 year old. A bit heavy/clunky. The boots are waterproof but after being outside in the stroller for 15 minutes and then in the car for 15 minutes in very cold weather my feet felt chilly. I returned them. Maybe it's normal for active kids with very warm socks, but we were happy to spend more knowing our feet would be warm and dry.

I ordered these for my toddler who loves snow! We live in Michigan, so every year we raise a decent amount to go sledding and building snowmen. They fit as expected, have a fluffy lining and a very durable rubber outsole. I know his feet stay warm/dry. 10/10

I bought these boots for my son. They fit well and he says they are comfortable. We haven't tested them in the snow yet, but it looks like they should keep his feet warm when playing in the snow. The upper of the boots has a lacing that allows you to fit tightly to the top and protect against snow and cold air. Boots are plain black. My son is happy with them.

Keeps my son's feet in the snow! Our snowstorms are relatively mild (PNW) but he played for hours and never complained about the cold or damp!

These boots fit as expected and are of good quality. I love the bright colors and the drawstring. They sit just above the ankle, which gives good protection from snow. The only downside is that the fleece lining isn't incredibly soft like some boots I've seen, and they pack up pretty quickly, so we'll see how long they stay warm enough for cold North American winters.
