Improved design and quality tool

I've always used old fashioned flexible angle adapters. I suspect professional technicians have been using them for a while, but I'm only a weekend mechanic so I know. Not by much but they are way better than the old design, very strong, nicely made and unlikely to break unless you abuse their adapters and massive percussion weapons. Highly recommended.

Real Quality Swirls!

I used 3/8 and 1/2 inch to remove and install my Subaru's new suspension and lifter with no problem. I knocked the snot out of the 1/2" swivel with my DeWalt DCF899 by removing the rear side arm cam bolts. I hammered it at 1,000 feet of torque for half an hour and it held up. The quality and durability for the dollar is second to none, and the angles at which these swivels operate are amazing. Highly recommended for anyone who needs them.

For hard-to-reach places

If you work high-impact, you know how difficult it is to get into slightly off-center places. They just seem to work for it. When applying a lot of force I don't trust the corner deflection too much, but for small misalignments this is the best way to pry out stubborn nuts/bolts. I have used 3/8 and 1/2 successfully and have no complaints. Definitely saved me the hassle of breaking out the switch shaft and speeded up my work. Featured!

Suitable for multiple uses, low price.

This is normal for the do-it-yourselfer or those who don't use them often, but for professionals I would recommend you look ELSEWHERE. 3/8, 1/2) build quality - they are decent and have not yet broken from use. Cons: Material - looks like cheap metal but for the price that's to be expected. Durability - even with my low usage. of these (6 times with 1/4, 4 times with 1/2) the inside of the heads show wear that usually only occurs after prolonged use of the head. Lighter than expected

Just to live up to expectations with this set. I've included a direct comparison to a Husky 1/2" impact bushing. Not to mention these Ares items are bad as I've used 1/2" and so far have been so good. But in comparison you can clearly see why they are so much cheaper. Time will tell. These Ares pieces also have a spring at the bottom (it doesn't flatten them out really well) which the Huffy doesn't do. They don't have that much angle which is a bit of a shame. Not a unique design. Pen holding sleeve and stylus failed on first use (DeWalt 1/2 " cordless percussion tool)

This is an outdated universal stylus. There is a slip ring on the ring which is meant to cover and hold the stylus but does not. Collar slips exposing pin. Pin displaces, bends and then fails. Installed five 5/8" x 1-1/2" Grade 5 steel screws with a DeWalt 1/2 Cordless impact wrench. Failed the second time. If you are looking for universal IMPACT universal NOT the one you can buy. good product at a good price. contains 1/4 which is hard to find.

was looking for a complete set of universal ball joints (1/2, 3/8 and 1/4) and then found this set from Ares Tool. I haven't used them as impact sockets, but I love these pivots as good pivots. Boxed joints tend to bind when trying to use them, especially on long extensions. Boxed joints tend to tip over and make it difficult to use. THESE DO NOT HAVE this problem as the ball joints only rotate 30-45 degrees (approx) center. 1/2 and 3/8 work great as I've already started using them when helping
