You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. I managed to rotate one of the parts 90 degrees when I pulled off the stabilizer bolts. Luckily my ratchet and socket survived, as did the smaller extension I sacrificed next.

Mustang Approved: Sockets and Socket Sets

Only used a few times so can't confirm durability but if you have a Mustang. You need it. Spark plug. collector bolt. Put the X-Pipe on and the passenger bolt is tricky to reach, which would be impossible without it.

They are ok with sockets and socket sets

The 3/8 swivel broke when I dropped it on the floor from 3ft. The part holding them together was nowhere to be found so I had to toss it in the trash so I rated it as I did. the one I use the most) I wouldn't rate it that bad.

Good range of accessories

This set offers the best choice in addition to what I already had as I bought several sets of sockets which included some parts and some of them broke over time. I had to completely upgrade the 3/8" extensions and needed drive size adapters. Everything looks very high quality, but I can't yet comment on how well it holds up to use.

Great set at a great price

I've only had the opportunity to use this kit once to replace some hard to find spark plugs on my truck. I bought this set specifically for this purpose and it did not disappoint. Can't comment on durability as I've only used it for one job, but some of my spark plugs were stuck and required quite a bit of extra effort to remove. . The extension cords have held up well to heavy use and everything in the set looks good. I am happy with this purchase and will buy again.

Do you want the socket to be "strong "?

I received this item on July 5, 2018. The sockets are very robust and durable. This is very similar to using additional "snap-on" connectors. I recommend all mechanics to try it. It's very accessible, I recommend you organize something because it's easy to get lost, but overall it's a great collection of tools. It has rusted heavily on cars due to strong screws (pending procedure). And it held up the pressure even when I put the tube on the wrench to loosen the bolt (procedure)

It actually saved my job changing spark plugs.

I originally bought this set to change spark plugs and although I might need an extension. BUT I rushed to order a torque wrench and got a 1/4" drive, so my 3/8" spark plug head didn't fit. Thank goodness I had this set because it had the perfect adapter I needed. Adapter for inserting the screwdriver head into the ratchet to loosen the ignition coil screw. Light use is cool, heavy use is not.

After using the 90 degree extensions, I think the ball joint extensions might be more useful for car repairs. I had an extension between the fender and the fuel tank when I removed the suspension mounts. BUT short sockets would also help. Anyway, with the help of a torque wrench and one of the gearboxes from this kit, I was able to mount three tires on the machine. The gearbox of the last tire blew and I had to contact MacGyver. Need Toolbox in Sockets & Socket Sets

While the quality is excellent. I haven't had the opportunity to abuse them at work so I don't have an opinion on that but it looks like they will stand up to some abuse. I don't abuse them on purpose, they are abused when the bolt binds or binds and I have to use extra force to move the bolt.
