Great Brushes - Brushes

Three sizes to choose from to meet most dry brushing needs with this set. The pens are very durable and are therefore ideal for embossing. The bristles are medium-hard and give slightly without being too loose. Acrylic paint is easily washed off with dishwashing detergent. I highly recommend them for dry brushing.

Great brushes but very short lifespan

Excellent brushes for dry brushing. Provides excellent control and holds the perfect amount of color. The main downside is that brushes are more difficult to clean than most and therefore don't last long. If you want to get a little more out of a project, it's definitely worth it, but it's too expensive for everyday use.

The best dry brush except for cheap makeup brushes. Army artist at his best.

A few months ago I bought a very expensive Artis Opus dry brush set and fell in love with the sheer ability to paint miniatures in great detail. The main issue with the Artis Opus D Series is the price (about $80) and the fact that I often forget that cleaning this type of brush is time consuming. Terrible quality at a great price

High price, terrible quality. Brushes lose a large amount of bristles, when first dry brushed Over 30 years of experience with dry brush models and over 200 awards These are some of the worst and worst quality brushes I have ever bought Avoid They shed more hair/bristles on a hot spring day than long haired ones cats.

The best dry brushes.

For a decent artist, these brushes are a marvel. A few months ago I learned how to paint with regular brushes with dry brushes. But they just make it a thousand times easier. Just dip in the paint, wipe away the big blobs with a paper towel, done. It took my Warhammer armies to a whole new level and made them look way better than before. I would recommend these brushes to anyone who asks for them and will likely buy another set so I have a spare.

I had 3 other professional artists, they all said the same thing, it's absolute nonsense. They didn't last as long as regular army brushes and I used 5 different sets to see if that says anything because I already hated their regular brushes. They are not suitable as dry brushes for two reasons: A) They are synthetic which means they don't hold color very well which makes their use a bit pointless because if they can't hold color they don't work well. like a dry brush.
