This hat is exactly as described. The fabric is thick so keep that in mind if you intend to wear it outside in the summer. I personally don't mind, but you could. Suitable for my 9 year old but not my 6 year old.

Perfect fit. I am a 65 year old woman with a very small head so I usually have to buy youth hats when I need them. Unfortunately, it shrinks and creases in the wash, but it's cotton. I still gave 5 stars because it's a great hat and now fits my 20 inch head perfectly.

My little one loves Curious George and especially The Man in the Yellow Hat. I wanted to find him his own yellow hat because he's obsessed with wearing hats. Since it's summer this hat is perfect to protect his head and neck from the sun and now he's wearing a yellow hat!
