This has definitely changed the way of life. This works as intended for brown rice. But I admit that I only used it once for this purpose. However, I've used it for one thing or another almost every day since it arrived. From single or double serving muffins, scrambled, soft boiled or hard boiled eggs, omelettes, pasta, lentils, soups, steamed vegetables, quick bread. Macaroni and Cheese. tilt cake. It includes several recipes to give you an idea of what to try. Then get creative. With the…

Perfect size for a small household

UPDATE July 20, 2018: I bought a second rice cooker for me and my boyfriend because he bought the first one we had and we hardened it 1.52 Used for years with no problems before it broke. It's small and inexpensive, so we weren't surprised/frustrated that it couldn't last forever like Japanese family rice cookers. But after just a month of use it stopped working; and looking at the recent 1 star reviews it seems like we all bought our rice cookers from the same production batch. TL; DR: Low…

I love this little oven!

I love oatmeal and have tried many different ways of preparing it. Oatmeal takes longer to cook than regular oatmeal and requires stirring during the cooking process. I've tried putting them in the slow cooker so they're ready in the morning, but since I only cooked a portion, the oats inevitably burned at the bottom of the pot, and I didn't care how "mushy" the oatmeal was was. " became. You can't cook oatmeal overnight with oatmeal, or at least I haven't been able to. When I saw this little…

It cooks brown rice perfectly with some downsides.

I'm so glad to buy a small rice cooker because I cook rice entirely on the stovetop. When I first tried a rice cooker I used brown rice (I have a new variation of brown rice) and I followed a simple rice to water ratio and it came out perfect! However, like other reviewers, I noticed a puddle underneath, and there's also a lot of water splashing onto the lid, making it a puddle. Luckily, the puddle on the bottom of the device doesn't come from a piece of electronics, but from a not-so-good…

One of the best purchases of my life

One of the best purchases of my life. I'm tired of husking the regular size rice that I'd have to save for later and it gets a bit stale even if you add some water and reheat in the microwave. I love rice and eat it with almost every meal, so eating fresh rice every day is a whole different thing. It takes less time to cook than large ones, anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. I also use steam from time to time to steam my face to clear my pores. This allows you to simply steam the water directly in

Simple rice cooker for one or two people (5 stars)

I have a 15 year old Zojirushi rice cooker that cooks 2 to 10 cups of dried rice, but now that there are just the two of us I always have leftover rice. Step into this Miniature Aroma Mi Rice Cooker that cooks less rice just as well as my much more expensive stovetop. At just 7.5 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter, this rice cooker takes up almost no space in my closet or counter. a cup that is about 3/4 of a measuring cup. (That's a little less than my Zojirushi cup, which is also less than…
