Dream catcher

Ideal for dream catcher work. Separates cleanly. does not wear out quickly and is very durable. This is great value. I order more of these.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Some problems

This is the real deal!

Great buy! I have ordered other string items from Amazon and they turned out to be tiny spools which were not legal. This one is large and just what I needed for birch bark and Native American decor.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great for tie dyeing

I've wanted to use some kind of string for tie dyeing for a long time, not rubber bands. This material is ideal for this. Extremely durable and you can split the thread down the middle to make it thinner if needed and it still retains its durability.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

Waxy & Durable - Beading & Jewelry Making

This is by far the best artificial string I have ever used in dream catchers. Others are either too thick, not waxy enough, or don't manipulate as intended. This tendon had it all: great texture, some elasticity without tearing or sagging, and it was waxy. It was strong enough for me to thread beads, charms, and other details onto it. It's also a good bulky spool to work with without running out. I bought another roll this week because it's my favorite now.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • No Insurance

Perfect for dying ties!

This string deserves 6 stars! The first two times I tried to buy string from Revain I was completely ripped off, they only sent nylon thread (it was string in the photos , but that's not what you sent). The third time is a charm because it's perfect, the best I've ever used and I've used many different ways over the years. It leaves nice crisp white lines and is sticky enough (enough that it won't come loose no matter how tightly wrapped) and can be reused multiple times. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Bead and jewelry making
Cons
  • Will write later

This is the 5 ply strand I've been looking for since I started the remodel. I use it for bags, gun cases, or many things that used to use string. It is excellent for sewing leather and beads. There are a number of imitations that are 1 thread and cannot be separated for finer work. The best price I found. The specs were a little light, but I took a chance. Bingo, like others, costs double or more. It probably won't work with small beads since beading needles have a very small eye. Larger sizes…

Pros
  • Beading Strings and Threads
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Works great but the roller itself doesn't hold much

This was used to tie my nylon whip and it was great for that and I was very happy with the job it did. However, since you have to wrap this very tightly around the project, you tighten the reel and this adds a huge gap in the layers of tendon and if you keep doing this the reel will break quickly. I can't think of a way to fix this problem, but unfortunately it keeps happening. The tendon continues to function as it should, but it is definitely more difficult to unfold and work when in this…

Pros
  • Beading Accessory
Cons
  • I don't remember
