When I received the docking station I literally stuck it in the wall, installed the app and it synced. Did. I didn't even open the manual before it worked like any other bluetooth speaker. Most of the complaints I see are related to the DockStudio application. I understand the challenges Philips faced when trying to create a universal dock that would work with the wide range of Android devices available. I wanted an alarm clock/speaker/dock combo for my Samsung Galaxy SII in the bedroom, it was the best option available that fit on my bedside table. My comments agree with everyone else. Cons: The Fidelio app keeps trying to connect - and I know how to kill apps - it restarts automatically. I removed it, everything works fine.
