Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Android Experience with the Philips AS111/37 Fidelio Docking Speaker by Brenda Martinez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very nice clean look. Good sound.

It takes a lot of effort to give something 5 stars, so please don't take the loss of a star as a sign of any problems with this product. I really like this product as it is inexpensive and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have an old replacement Android phone from another vendor that I no longer use. It works great as the brain for this watch/charger/speaker system. Bluetooth is a bit fiddly, but not difficult to set up. It perfectly syncs the time and isn't too bright at night. There are a few awkward controls, but nothing major that can't be bypassed. For example, the power button is primarily used to turn Bluetooth on and off, but you also need to press the button to adjust the brightness of the night light and the brightness of the clock. So pressing the power button toggles Bluetooth on and off every time you try to adjust the brightness. However, once you've adjusted the brightness, you'll likely never have to go through this process again. It would also be nice if they made the mini USB mount a little more durable. The phone I use has the power plug on the side up, so it sits a little off-center on the charging cradle. It's holding up well but looks like it might fall off if hit or hit hard. Overall I like it as the Bluetooth connection is good and the audio is acceptable. I use a third party alarm app called Gentle Alarm and it works great! Can wake up to a random song in the playlist, set repeat and has a gradual increase in volume to wake up.
