Install with demolition

This kit was perfect for my needs. I installed it in a 2005 F150 with an Atoto A6 dual din head unit. I gave 4 stars because it's not exactly plug and play. The instructions were pretty clear on what modification plans to follow, but it took some tools and confidence to separate all the necessary parts before assembly. If you can overcome your fear of breaking the rails, buy yourself thick gloves, goggles and a good pair of pliers and destroy them. I wasn't wearing gloves or goggles but I'mโ€ฆ

No idea why it's rated so highly

Wrong adapter for my 2010 Expedition. The large adapter fits my main unit snugly (5 or 6 wires left I think) but the small adapter is far away from the right size (about half the size) and only has two speaker outputs while my main unit has 6 inputs. Now I have to try to find the right adapter. I'm not sure about the assembly yet because I need to finish the wiring first. EDIT: I had to order another part from another company. It was the adapter block seen in the video. I tried to install theโ€ฆ

Stay away, poor quality.

Attempted to use on a 2011 Ford Super Duty. Supplied with wiring harness, antenna adapter and mounting kit. I ended up just using the antenna adapter and wire harness. Even then I had to run additional wires to the red 12v switch under the dash as that doesn't work with the harness adapter. The worst part was the mount. After soldering the entire wiring harness (can't go back now) I started assembling the bracket. It didn't look quite right and the instructions didn't help much, so I took aโ€ฆ

Works (yes) on 2013 F250 XLT Superduty

Bought to put a touchscreen player in place of a standard stereo as the sound system was terrible. Sides and front to make it work as expected and as part of the instructions. Looks nice. However, my big problem is that there are 4 screws in the kit that don't pop out long enough to fit into one of the holes on the stereo, so I had to find 4 random screws from my screw bucket. (You know you have it.) Also, it was VERY snug on a standard two din stereo. Not bad visually, but it's rounder thanโ€ฆ

  • Stylish and modern design

  • Doesn't go with everything

Wrong product description!

This seller is lying. The item description specifically states that this will work on a 2012 Ford F250. it is not. After spending the better part of a day routing all the wiring for my new head unit, bluetooth mic, rear camera, and subwoofer, I finally made the final move. So far everything has been going great. I pulled the installation kit from my bag and was immediately unimpressed by the lack of parts (no screws). I was going to install it and part of the radio frame broke. I startedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • Exorbitant piggy bank

More complete than others, however.

I have a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT. The factory main suspension already has reverse, VSS and steering control, the Metra is barely enough to get the basic stereo function and nothing else, the Scosche is exactly the same. This one adds at least some of them, but not all. I took this wiring harness and removed the pins and wires from the Metra to fill it up, leaving only the parking brake to worry about. Additionally, a medium-sized connector not found in any of these kits has an auxiliary input from
