ASICS Gel Kayano Training Athletic Numeric_11_Point_5 Men's Shoes and Athletic Review

Thought I'd do everything right if I stayed true to the Gel-Kayano. My favorite was the 25. This one doesn't have much to do with the old one anymore. I ordered the shoe in size 47, black/red. Then noticed that the padding in the heel area felt somehow uncomfortable. Upon contemplation, I noticed that this was a war defect. Shoes also sent back (at my expense, 6€) and reordered. Received (new) shoes today with the same error! These shoes weren't new though, at least THEY came without the original packaging and care instructions, along with a folded Puma box to fill the package. Good kauchuk. It's a bit heavier on the feet compared to the Nike Pegasus, but for me it has the better footbed. After 200km of jogging, I am very satisfied so far.

ASIC once again lived up to expectations for the Kayano line. Comfortable and convenient for walking. Considering I have plantar fasciitis, they have quickly become my go-to shoe.

Already the fourth Cayano gel. For me the ideal running shoe. With a little patience, you can get it in the sale for significantly less than €180. Absolute purchase recommendation for people over 85kg.

Delivery, shoes (incl. fit) as expected and therefore 5 stars. Don't know what to criticize. Some have written that the shoes are smaller than other older Kayano models. I can not confirm. Have the same size as always and can also wear them with orthopedic sports insoles (without insoles of course)

This running shoe is just great. I love the cushioning. Often run half of the route on paved paths (asphalt, slabs, etc.) and the other half in the forest (over hill and dale). That's why I opted for a rather dark design. Will definitely run many more kilometers in this shoe.

The quality is way below standard. The smell is worn like before. There are plastic parts in the gel pad. What a waste of 8k.

One of the best running shoes for me. Not cheap, but a good fit (one size larger than usual is recommended) and very good walking comfort.

I ordered a pair in the size I usually wear but they were too small and tight. I traded for a larger size but felt even tighter than the first pair. I would like shoe retailers to specify the width of the shoe for us runners, that's extremely important.

This is my 6th or 7th Asics in the last 12 years. All previous shoes have been pretty good and never had any issues. To my surprise, that didn't work at all. Within two days I had blisters on my side of the hill (both legs). I figured since it's new it would eventually fit. I've been trying for 2 months and every time I wear it I get blisters in the same place. Most likely this is a defective pair that I received. As a woman you think you can find decent comfortable training shoes so started going to the men's department the shoes are much more comfortable than these shoes I use for cross training and they are comfortable I add too deposits added. Insole for extra protection

The shoe is always too small. Anyone who runs Asics knows that. Normal size 44 has always been 46 here. Regarding the shoe itself, the last thing I had was the Kayano 24, which somehow never really wanted to become my friend. 4 generations later everything is right again and I am super satisfied. Comfortable to wear on the foot, good support and pleasant cushioning on decelerated runs. Definitely recommended for heavy runners.

I've had this version since Asics 9 came out. This is another change and fits just like the 27 version. Feels pretty good and the colors are ok. I like traditional models, but splash and dash models are trending.
