🤼 ASICS JB Elite Olympic Wrestling Shoes Review

I'm a powerlifter and bought these specifically for deadlifting because when you compete you either have to wear deadlift shoes or slippers which not only don't support but also don't hold the ground well. They work great and are a cheaper alternative to the Sabo deadlift shoe which is the best deadlift shoe although many will disagree and will use ammo. They're as flat as a shoe can get and very stable with great traction. Highly recommended for powerlifters who need a good deadlift shoe.

I bought these to use as driving shoes in autocross competitions and the High Performance Driver Education (HPDE). My first event isn't until the beginning of May, but I can already say that the soles of these shoes will be much more sensitive than the shoes I've used before. And at $40, these shoes cost half to a quarter the cost of "real" driving boots (albeit without FR properties, of course). So far so good with this pair of wrestling shoes. My son who is 13 years old had a good time with them this season of folk style wrestling. He has been training about 2 hours every day for the last month and the shoes are still good. The bottom is unworn and still holds well on the mat. You have a lot of life left. He would continue to wear them throughout high school wrestling and freestyle seasons. (He's been using them since October, to give anyone an idea of how often they're used).

Great boxers. Very light and looks sharp. The shoes are a bit tight and need breaking in, but they fit very well after a few uses.

My son fights in our school's heavyweight division. He is 15 years old, 6ft 1m tall and weighs 240 pounds. These shoes have lasted all season and when his foot stops growing he will most likely last another one. Thank you for making quality shoes for my giant!

Great boxing shoes, am a personal trainer, have had them for two years, bought a second pair because I love them so much! Shoes look and fit great.

A very comfortable pair of wrestling shoes. I also use it for boxing and it offers a solid grip. In terms of logistics, the size is 0.5 smaller than usual, so please pay attention to it. I sent it back and got a refund with no problems.

These are the worst wrestling shoes I've ever bought. I use them for martial arts so I buy shoes every few years. They looked cool so I decided to ditch my Nikes. Huge mistake. Too tight, feels like they have cardboard insoles. I've tried prying them out to put in the insoles but I can't get the factory insoles out yet. shoes suck.

Fits VERY tight but feels nice and supportive. I've trained in it quite a bit in pro wrestling and I've never had foot pain, at least not from a shoe that laughs. The grip is there when you need it, they are very light and look cool.

I wear a 10 in most shoes and have a wide foot, they are very comfortable as an 11. I can't imagine wearing a 10 in these shoes. I use them for the instep and they are excellent.

I tried different wrestling shoes at different stores including the new ASICS wrestling shoes and they were too narrow for my foot. I was a little worried it would be too much but they fit my foot perfectly. They have great grip and offer excellent ankle support.

The product arrived quickly and is as expected. My son was able to put them on the same day they arrived just in time for his wrestling practice.

Those wrestling shoes were incredibly tight. I would even call them broken. Unfortunately I miscalculated the return window and now I'm stuck with them.

Had to send my first pair back for the last size as they are a full size too small. But happy with its size. They are comfortable and stylish with good arch support.

I love this ASICS style, my second pair and they fit me exactly how I want them. I'm not a wrestler but I love wearing them to the gym and everyday because they are so flexible and hug your legs. Stylish af too

I use them for live practice and judging for our pro wrestling promotion. Great black shoe and grips the mat well. I bought another set for a size up because of the wide foot.

The shoes fit perfectly. Ordered 1 size up from my usual size 11. Good fit. I use it for weight lifting. Ordered another JB style in a different color a few days later 😃

After reading the reviews I decided to order a size up for my son, he has a narrow foot so I figured that would be enough. I was wrong, his fingers got stuck in wrestling shoes. I had to order 2 sizes up, these wrestling shoes are too big.

I order these for my 15 year old wrestler. They lasted 2 wrestling seasons with him and if his foot hadn't grown they would have lasted at least 3 seasons. Good workmanship and good wrestling shoes
