I switched to these from the Adidas Powerlift.2

I switched to them from the Adidas Powerlift.2 and couldn't be happier. I didn't really like the raised heels on traditional bodybuilding shoes, so I did some research and kept coming across them. I've been working in them for the past month and I'm a lot happier. My ankles feel a lot better. I wouldn't wear them just as casual shoes. 1. My wife has a sizing issue and suggests that women order their normal size and men order 2 sizes up! She ordered them in advance and adjusted the size as they say MEN and they were too small! She is a size 9.5 in women's running shoes and orders a 7.5 (since they claim it's MEN'S SIZE) and they were super comfortable. Since then I've been using Asics running shoes (both for running and wrestling). Now I use these shoes for boxing. Fits as expected. I usually wear size 7 shoes but ordered a size 8 before to keep my toes level. These shoes stretch after purchase so maybe 7.5 would be fine for me. In any case, the sole has no grip, it's fairly flat, very…

Deadlift Shoes

I've been training in Adidas Powerlifting (squats, deadlifts, bench press) for about 4 years, which I really enjoy. If you just want one shoe for all your climbs, this is probably your best bet (the 6-inch heel is adequate for squats, but not as high as most, so better for deadlifts). I really wanted to try flat shoes. for the deadlift, as is often recommended (not "required" but most people seem to prefer it) Chuck Taylor Converses are a typical bargain offering. But since they were the same…
