The ease with which you can use this product is amazing! It's very intuitive as well so anyone who has basic knowledge about networking will be able understand how all these components work together in order make them communicate easily across each other (and maybe even within their own network). There are some things that could have been improved upon but nothing majorly noticeable or anything really bad either aside from perhaps having more options when configuring certain aspects such an IP…

Pros
  • Very easy to setup
  • Easy way for multiple servers, routers & switches communicating between one another without needing complex configurations.
  • Great user interface too especially compared against similar software used elsewhere e.g Cisco IOS devices

Great for easy service-to and cross container communication

The ease in which we can configure our services with aspens is great! We are able to set up rules that determine how traffic flows between different microservices within an application or across applications using their federation capabilities. There have been some issues where there has not always been enough documentation about what features work together well (e.g., sidecar containers) but they seem very receptive when you reach out via slack/email etc.. You will need experience working…

Pros
  • Also good support by sales reps whenever questions arise around functionality / use cases
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Easy install & configure with existing services like Prometheus or Grafana (or other monitoring tools). It has some limitations in terms of custom metrics but this can be overcome by using istios sidecar proxy feature which allows you to define your own metric namespaces. If we have multiple applications running then i would recommend going for aspens mesh instead of adding another software layer between them. We are solving our problem of exposing microservices APIs across different…

Pros
  • The ease at installing it
  • Able scale up/down without downtime as well while keeping service uptime intact.
  • Service discovery is easy through Istio's config map mechanism, no need any additional configuration apart from defining one env label per application deployment environment e.g dev1 etc.It automatically routes traffic accordingly when accessing an app via its
Cons
  • Not the best
