No problem after 5 months

motherboard works great. It is easy to assemble a PC. So far there are no problems. Selecting an XMP profile in the BIOS automatically sets all parameters for operation at 3200 MHz. Before that, it worked at a frequency of 2133 MHz. Accidentally tried to enter parameters manually and the machine froze and had to reset the flash by removing the battery on the motherboard. That was just before watching a video on You Tube. Other Components: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop…

Pros
  • 8 Power Phase Design, Digi Power
Cons
  • Style 90

Has everything I need

Well built and good looking. My first ASRock technology and I'm very happy with the RGB support and PCI Express Gen 4 support. Two NVME-m2 lanes, one for 3x4 and one for 4x4. Two GPU lanes: a 4x16 generation and a 3x4 generation. One m2 for SATA and one m2 for Wi-Fi dongle. USB Type-C on the rear I/O panel. The I/O shield has openings for the bluetooth/wi-fi antenna, just remove the armor and route the wires, reinstall the armor (gives a cleaner look). If you want Windows 7, you need to install

Pros
  • 1 PCIe 4.0 x16, 1 PCIe 3.0 x16, 2 PCIe 3.0 x1, 1 M.2 E Key for WiFi
Cons
  • Some bugs

Problems with 5000 series processors? Consider updating the BIOS.

I kept getting random crashes with Ryzen 5 5600X and BIOS version 1.20 (the first it supports). After doing a clean install of Windows and checking the RAM with memtest and passing 100%, I was ready to blame the motherboard. However, I've decided to update it to the latest version (1.70 at the time of writing) and lo and behold, the crashes have stopped (at least for now). So if you have a Ryzen 5000 series processor and are experiencing random crashes, try updating your BIOS. I also had a…

Pros
  • Supports 3rd gen AMD AM4 Ryzen processors and future AMD Ryzen processors
Cons
  • Updates available

The rating of 4.2 is considered unreasonable. At first I did not want to take it because of the reviews, but, to be honest, they are unfounded and half have nothing to do with the motherboard. As a rule, half of the troubles sit in front of the computer. I took my own for assembly in white. I am very satisfied with the purchase. By the way, in order to turn off the backlight on the motherboard, you need to delve into the BIOS settings in the Advanced tab. There are guides on YouTube.

Pros
  • All standards are available, nothing more, a lot of supported RAM frequencies. The ability to safely overclock memory using two presets in the BIOS. Also pleased with the presence of M2. Key for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter. Everything else is not much different from other motherboards.
Cons
  • It was not possible to put a plug on the motherboard on the back wall of the case.

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

For the current price, it's a great option. There is everything that is necessary and at the same time there is nothing superfluous. I recommend ating the BIOS immediately. I personally found the BIOS to be very convenient and minimalistic. Unlike Asus' BIOS, which I used before, this one starts the system boot much faster (I know that this is configured), the mouse works fine in it. The software for synchronizing the backlight of everything also perfectly identified all the equipment. Asrock

Pros
  • - The charms of the B550 chipset (I don't need any of the advantages of the X-chipset) at a very attractive price and excellent appearance: the black color of the board itself, high-quality metal heatsinks, and even a little RGB lighting aside - Gigabit Internet. On the X-chipset there is 2.5 GBit, but I know where to connect this - Two M.2 slots, one of them with a heatsink - PCIe 4.0 x16, you can connect any graphics card
Cons
  • - A very primitive plug for ports in the case. I understand that a non-premium line needs to be attached to a separate one, but still this one is quite simple. - Extremely meager equipment: in addition to the map, only instructions and a couple of bolts

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

some strange stupidities with the definition of disks, for some reason initially could not boot the system from the previous computer, the BIOS stubbornly showed the absence of disks from which you can boot, but for some reason I immediately identified the inserted flash drive as bootable, although it was not. in the end, after several resets of the bios to default settings, it still managed to boot, I didn’t climb into the bios anymore from sin

Pros
  • Ryzen 5 4650G Pro got up without problems the cooling of the power circuit is good, the radiator is very warm, which means that the heat is removed
Cons
  • strange behavior with the definition of connected disks, because of this, it starts VERY long, if it cannot find suitable disks, I even thought that everything was hanging tightly, but after 2-3 minutes it woke up for some reason they made this bad backlight, for which you actually pay extra, although you don’t need it
