    Great display with great features!

This monitor is excellent and a worthy successor to my PG278Q and worthy of the Swift name. Adaptive sync, ELMB SYNC and overclocking work great. I don't see any blur or cracks. The IPS panel shows very little bleeding and glowing. Colors look deep and vibrant. It comes factory calibrated. The aura lighting is great, but I didn't notice it in normal use. The matte finish looks nice and smoothes out the glare a bit, even with bright light behind me. I bought it because I couldn't get used to the

    • Played on this screen for a week and there are already dead pixels. Damn

I'll start by comparing this to a close second, which I'm almost done with: I'm stuck between this and the Samsung Odyssey G7. Essentially high quality VA vs. high quality IPS. What the G7 has that the PG329Q doesn't have is 240Hz and better contrast, plus a curve if you like it. I ended up choosing the high-end VA due to Samsung's quality control issues and the fact that they only guarantee their product for 1 year compared to Asus which has 3 years (including a less than 3+ brightness…

Terrible uniformity. Still good for gaming.

This monitor is not what I expected from an IPS display. and it's not a typical IPS panel. However, it is located in the IPS class. The center of the display is great when it's working. (It's very broken at times and very dark, opening a game like Division2 seems to fix this) However, the edges can be very dark compared to the center, which doesn't make using the desktop that great, pretty bad actually. (my benq 27" zowie 1440p 144hz has a TN panel from a few years ago and looks better) feature

    • Limited screen customization

The monitor I received randomly dimmed even though I had disabled auto dimming in the screen monitor settings. In game or not, it just randomly dimmed. I ran it in native resolution with recommended refresh, not overclocked refresh, on displayport. The only other issue was that Asus Aura Sync couldn't control the RGB I had set on my Asus motherboard. Aside from those two issues, this monitor worked and looked great. FPS, colors, image quality and viewing angles were excellent. It's big for a 32

If you're buying for the HDR feature, stay away!

So I tried to do a lot of research before buying to justify the price and from what I've seen and read this monitor was worth it which is why I bought it. After everything was set up on the monitor and my PC, I noticed that the panel became very dark after about 20 minutes (20-25% reduction). I played around with the settings, and after turning HDR off and on again, the brightness reverted to what it was when I first turned it on. I thought the problem was solved and thought it might be the…

    Best hands down

Bought Acer, Benq and LG with similar specs for over $600 and returned all. I just don't think you can go wrong with this monitor. You need a good graphics card to run it at 175Hz and you need to understand how to optimize your games to get FPS without sacrificing all textures and what not. I won't go into everything here, there are many good videos on YT about it - I suggest Fr33thy for one. Thing is, I've bought 6 monitors to test out in the last 2 years and this one stays. I replaced my LG…

Good monitor - not for me

Overall this is a good monitor and didn't have any mechanical issues. The panel had a low IPS glow and no glare from the backlight, which was amazing. It was calibrated and the colors really looked out of the box. I was impressed with the 175Hz boost rate and the monitor's responsiveness, especially when gaming. I returned this monitor for a number of reasons. #1 is Displayport 1.2 only. #2 is only 8 bits. #3, while it advertises HDR600 and a brightness of up to 600 nits, I found it didn't…

Estimated for packaging/shipping and possibly damaged product

The monitor was shipped in its original packaging with no additional protection and was likely damaged through handling. The box looked like it had been opened before, but all of the contents were inside. Tested monitor although it picked up 165Hz automatically and looked great. It had flowers and some vertical stripes. The return process has been initiated and will most likely be purchased from a local store to avoid shipping/handling issues.

That's what it says on the box.

It's expensive for no other reason than it's (currently) a unicorn. There aren't many options if you want a high refresh rate panel with a >30 inch non-curved 16:9 panel that isn't VA or TN. It looks good even next to a 27-inch 1440p panel. Not as sharp, but the same PPI as a 24-inch 1080p panel. It's well built, the stand is huge and takes up a lot of desk space, but it doesn't wobble and doesn't feel cheap. oh but i have a single dead pixel. HDR is terrible, but don't buy anything other…

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good monitor with a few major weaknesses

Pros: Bright, good IPSG blacks, synchronization, consistent gaming performance in terms of response time and screen smoothness. Cons: overpriced. The competition offers the best product on the same panel (Acer Predator) 8-bit. When it "wakes up", all windows are rearranged, which is unacceptable for users with a multi-monitor configuration. I end up returning and getting 2 Dell S2721DGF as this monitor solves the issues I had with it and 1440p for 27 inches is really better anyway.

Decent PC monitor, the best in my rating

Looks good, features are good. This monitor size is a bit over 27-28, probably the best size for a desktop monitor. In addition, the color was dull and the brightness was very low. You need to make some serious adjustments.

    • Hard to say

So this monitor is great until it dims. During use, it will automatically dim at random intervals. This is a known issue. As detailed on the Linus Tech Tips forums and in several posts on the Asus forums. What happens is that the monitor automatically dims very dark when used at random times. What Asus support told us was that this is a "feature" that preserves the matrix. Essentially a refusal to acknowledge a problem or provide a solution to it. Also, it's DP 1.2. So yes, even though it…

    Doesn't work under warranty

Do not buy Asus products. This $1,000 monitor stopped overclocking after a 3-year warranty and hangs in record mode even when off. Google shows that this is a common problem. Why should I buy another one of their expensive motherboards or monitors? The RMA cost is $85 for diagnostics and does not include the cost of parts. Most likely repairs mean weeks without a monitor and then they tell you it's $500 for parts. I no longer use this company's products.
