Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

I don’t know what other users write for nonsense, but I didn’t have any dances with a tambourine and no driver installation on Win-8.1 ! I just unpacked it, plugged it in and it worked. Although for some reason it doesn't work on Win-7. Probably SEVEN needs drava. And at the expense of communication, who has poor reception, change the router. The adapter has nothing to do with it.

Pros
  • Plugged it in and it worked without drivers. The signal is good.

Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

After installing the utility and drivers from the disk that came with the device (usb-n13_B1), when the device is connected, a blue screen, a BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER error, and a reboot. Everything repeats until you pull out the adapter. I read that it's a matter of incompatibility (conflict with others) drivers. I installed a new, latest driver from the ASUS website, when I first connected, Windows immediately went into reboot, without showing any errors, then without errors, only the utility…

Cons
  • Problem with software (drivers)

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

Installed under Win 7, while only the driver is installed from the disk. The disk included is already designed for Win 8-10. If anyone needs to use the access point mode in Win XP or 7, you need to download from the office. site utility, and it also contains drivers and they are forced to be installed over the installed ones. The utility allows you to manage both the adapter mode and the access point, but there are not many connection settings. I read in the bowels of the documentation that…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Large: covers the adjacent USB connector. The kit (version B1) no longer includes a USB extension cable

Worst product ever, disappointed with the purchase.

The biggest and main drawback of the operation of this device is that it refuses to maintain communication and speed beyond 4 meters of line of sight (((. Not to mention doors, especially walls, ceilings, and so on that can be found between this device (USB -N13) and a router (Asus RT-N13U). This feature was established experimentally, i. E. pushing the PC and the router in different directions after 4 meters (line of sight), the transfer rate dropped from 70 MB / s to 8 MB / s. If, however, I…

Pros
  • 1) Model USB-N13 B.1 2) Nice case 3) Extension cable included 4) To some extent the price
Cons
  • The biggest and main drawback is the operation of this device ! 1) CD included (unnecessary and useless thing) 2) Drivers on CD included 3) Setup under Win7

Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

Periodically, it cannot connect to the router (although it sees the mesh ID) due to glitches in AES encryption. It is treated only by switching the encryption on the router to TKIP mode and then returning to AES. There is no declared data transfer rate at all, at best it will be 10 Mb / s. Do not be fooled by the price, it is better to pay a little extra and take something that really works.

Pros
  • The driver is installed automatically from the Windows 10 depository.
Cons
  • Support for AES encryption for WPA2-PSK flies. The transfer rate is low, no more than 10 Mb/s. There is no USB extension cable included, and the dongle itself is quite thick and will interfere with the adjacent socket.

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

I connected it to the Win7 x64 system, Windows did not find the driver in the system and automatically downloaded it from the ate center, after which the dongle immediately started working, found my network and connected. My ASUS RT-N13U router was already configured for the n-standard and everything immediately worked at maximum speed for this network. Impressions are only positive.

Pros
  • Small size, good signal, good speed, good price. ASUS company.
Cons
  • Failed to dance with a tambourine)))

Great product, best quality.

Bought for a second computer in another room. On win 10 inserted and working. I didn't install the driver out of the box. The speed is enough to watch YouTube at maximum speed and maximum quality, and there are almost no delays when switching (this is how I tested it). I bought for 700. It does everything it should. Some pros: Inserted and the network appeared. Communication through one concrete wall without problems. Thin, does not block the neighboring port. The speed is enough for…

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Windows itself did not find firewood for this device. First, I ran the installer from the CD that came with the package. The Asusovskaya utility began to crawl out when loading the computer. He demolished the utility - firewood was also demolished. Then, through the device manager, I forced the firewood from the disk (Win7 64). Everything is working fine so far. Yes, when you turn on the cable and WiFi at the same time (there is both so far), the Internet is wildly slow :) but this may not…

Pros
  • Works.
Cons
  • Dancing with a tambourine about firewood.

Quality at zero, very sorry for the money spent.

I thought that Asus product should be of high quality and bought this adapter, despite many reviews that it does not work well. In normal mode (surfing the Internet, listening to streaming music, or even watching TV broadcasts), the adapter works fine. But everything changes when downloading torrents. After 20-30 minutes under full load, the adapter either disconnects from the network (and almost never reconnects to it), or turns off altogether (the indicator is on, but the system does not see…

Pros
  • No.
Cons
  • Loses connection or turns off under full load after 20-30 minutes. A bright, annoying LED that needs to be sealed.

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I do not understand the indignation of those who complain about this model. Particularly surprising are the comrades who talk about the maximum 20Mbit / s. I have stable 51 Mbps. It is quite enough to watch FullHD (50 fps) movies. The signal is excellent through a thick wall. On the other side, decent routers are used: Netgear 3500L and Asus RT-AC68U. If there are no plans to grow to AC, then I consider it a very worthy, budget option.

Pros
  • I am satisfied. I've been using a couple of these for a few years now. Tested and stable on Win7, 8, 8.1, Ubuntu 14-17 and a decent bunch of other Linux distributions.
Cons
  • Didn't find it

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

I read all sorts of reviews, and at first there were fears that the drivers on the 64-bit "seven" might behave inappropriately. Just in case, I consulted with the manufacturer. They assured that everything would be fine. And in fact: the entire installation process took a matter of minutes. First, insert a native disk with firewood. Then, when after 5-10 seconds the system reports that the drivers are installed, we insert, in fact, the device. We wait some more time, and here it is: available…

Pros
  • Ease of installation. The apartment easily breaks through 2 concrete walls (approx. 8 meters). Good speed. Easy.
Cons
  • The dimensions are too big, but the flexible cord that comes with the kit neutralizes this drawback.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I needed an adapter both for receiving (for stationary PCs) and for an access point so that I could share my ADSL modem at home and surf the Internet through a beech! I sat on the Internet for 4 hours reading articles and reviews on different models! I settled on this model! I bought it for 750 with a year of warranty. I gave it as a reception. I connected the device to the computer (WIN7), but the device did not automatically get up. immediately downloaded the driver from the office. site and…

Pros
  • Lightweight. The assembly is good, it catches the signal well. The software is easy to use. A small extension cord is included - it will come in handy!
Cons
  • There are none! unless you are going to use it as WI-FI in laptops - the size is very large like a flash drive, it will just be easy to break it. For these purposes, it is better to take the N10 .

Worst purchase ever, don't make the same mistake.

The device was bought as an access point for an android phone. I've been suffering with it for almost a week, but I still couldn't get it to work in soft ap mode. Installed drivers, programs from asus'a and ralink'a. Neither the first nor the second saw the device. Although the system recognized it, it also could not turn it on. Prog asus'a managed to "raise" when he removed it and the driver, and then installed it with admin rights and in win xp compatibility. Launched with the same rights…

Pros
  • For a week of torment, I did not find a single one.
Cons
  • Terrible software and drivers included.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

Under xp, it became in one click with a utility and drivers from the asus website. The driver from the Realtek website (chip manufacturer) did not please me with anything special. I specify: revision B1. I sharpen: WIN XP, with the seven and the eight did not try. The same device with a Ralink chip (in fact, a different device, yes) has been working perfectly and stably on a WD media player for more than six months. And one more thing: Citizens, if you have a low speed, do not rush to sin on…

Pros
  • Price-quality ratio. Ease of installation and configuration.
Cons
  • Extension cord - neither fish nor meat. It would be more authentic for him) At least 15 centimeters.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Bought to use as an access point. Set up native software. The first attempt was unsuccessful (probably due to the fact that a lot of network settings were done in the system before this, some still fail). On the second try it worked great. About glitches: it seems that when you change any settings, the installed network key gets lost. You have to re-write it every time. But if you do not touch anything - everything is fine, it does not go astray. In general, the purchase is very satisfied. It

Pros
  • 1. Native softinka makes it easy to make an access point out of the adapter (under windows xp this is especially true). 2. Ability to filter poppy addresses (white or black lists). This smooths out the 2nd disadvantage. 3. Does not load the processor (there was such a problem with the previous adapter from another company).
Cons
  • 1. Native software is buggy. 2. In access point mode, encryption is only WEP 64 or 128 bits. 3. The software is loaded only when you log in: it is inconvenient for the access point mode (however, it is solved by autologon (for example, through powertoys for windows xp), and in order not to keep the computer "open", you can put a lock shortcut in autoload).

Thought it would be better, but overall not bad.

I bought this adapter as a temporary solution due to its low price. I wanted to support the frequency of 5 GHz, but the asus does not seem to have such an adapter yet. Has pros: It works in adapter mode in conjunction with the ASUS RT-N56U router, there were no problems with the settings. Keeps speed. Has cons: On the second day after installation, the connection suddenly began to drop, reinstalling the driver helped. The overall impression of the device was slightly spoiled.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

It may have been already, but it might be useful for someone: If you suddenly stopped seeing WiFi (the network's SSID is not in the list), check the channel on the router. If there is an auto-selection of the channel, then with a strong air noise (many neighboring points, etc.), the router could switch above the 11th channel, but this device does not see them.

Pros
  • Normal reception for "whistle". Under Ubuntu 15.04 it is seen immediately, without any shamanism with firewood.
Cons
  • Some may not like the bright blue LED.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Second-rate product, won't buy it again.

If you need an adapter for the office, buy a cheaper model. If you need speed, buy something else. For games, online HD movies and torrenting, the ASUS USB-N13 B1 is unsuitable. Good reviews are written more likely by those to whom speed and stability are not important. Its pros: Windows 10 64 bits identified immediately. That's all the advantages. Different cons: Netgear 3100m burned down from overheating after a few years. Downloaded up to 8000kb / s. ASUS n13 turns off at 5500kb / s and 3…

Bought for work, because. a free point appeared (tired of paying 550 for unlimited 3g from Amazon). Some kind of terrible UG, but maybe I was just unlucky, although, judging by the reviews, I am not the only one so unlucky. I'm going to return. Has pros: I haven’t noticed in a week of use, the D-Link DWA-131 dongle, which has been used at home without complaints for almost a year as an access point for laptops and phones (quite enough), is smaller and looks more stylish, and even cheaper. Has…

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

I'm using revision B1. From the PC to the router, about 6 meters and one wall. In Windows it shows 4 out of 5 bars. Maximum speed. No overheating, no sudden shutdowns either. Has pros: Stable reception, good speed, small size. The box contains a short thick wire that can be bent as needed. The price is quite adequate. Different cons: It was not easy to install the driver, given the lack of a disk drive in my PC. I put a few firewood - none worked. After I followed one of the links here, in the
