Very easy to apply. I had no problems with the tape sticking to itself. The removal removed neither the old nor the new color. Very happy with this masking tape. Gave nice smooth lines with no light transmission.

I have commercial aluminum windows and after a day the tape stopped sticking, kept peeling off. Even on the glass and paper covering the windows, the tape didn't stick very well. I ended up using a different tape that held up much better.

I bought this to use with my 3D printer but unfortunately there is something on the top of the tape that is preventing the PLA from sticking to it. I ended up buying some green masking tape and 3m of blue masking tape which really work. I've seen that it's suitable for painting - it sticks well to the walls, comes off easily, but if it doesn't bleed I can't say as I haven't tested it. . All in all, I'd suggest saving yourself the headache and sticking with big brands for a few extra bucks.

I used masking tape to cover a piece of thin plywood that I laser engraved to make a nameplate on the door. I used water based paint which worked well. I tried filling in the engraved part with water based paint but it didn't work because it bled under the tape. I'd use water-based paint again, but if I could I'd probably use spray paint instead because it's quicker. Good product and it worked well to mask the wood and the laser work didn't affect the tape in the area.

The only reason I'm writing this review is to help someone else make the same mistake I did. I had about 180 feet of this tape on my RV. Since several layers of paint had to be applied, the tape was left in place for several days. Removing the tape was a total disappointment and frustration. As you can see from the photos the glue is too strong and the tape has peeled off the existing paint and also left traces of the glue in all the places used.
