Separate pitman arms, tie rods, and ball joints on your vehicle. 5 different SAE standard pieces that are universal for cars and light trucks; All forks are threaded to be interchangeable with either handle. Tie rod spreader with 11/16 wedge opening; Ball joint separator with 15/16 jaw opening; Pitman arm wedge with 1-1/8 opening. 7 3⁄4 inch knurled striking handle is included for use with conventional hammers. 6 3⁄4 adapter handle for use with air hammer.

Screw in carefully for the first time

Has done a good job so far. No problem. Thread the thread carefully the first time, as the threads will not be deburred. Use faucet oil or wd40 and wipe off after fully threading.

Works great and great value

Inexpensive kit but worked great when I was working with ball joints on a 2009 Ford Escape. This made disconnecting the ball joints safe and simple. Case is also good. Happy.

Must be lifetime for limited use

Yes, they're not really needed if you're just making it yourself, but they cost money per use. Use it twice and you'll even save money on a free set at an auto parts store.

The material is acceptable.

Decent stuff, tool doesn't fit all tie rods, I tried it on a Kia Soul and it didn't work very well. You'll have better luck turning the castle nut upside down and tapping the tie rod with a hammer.
