On to the old school! - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

I wanted to go back to the old school and save the leftover bacon to re-roast the beans (I know it's not good for the heart, but yummy to eat from time to time). The problem I had was that the containers I used were not designed for pouring and storing drips safely. This container has a wide opening so I can pour and strain leftover bacon straight from the pan into the container. I like being able to store the strainer and the top of the container.

Pros
  • Just the right size. This can of bacon is good for 5 cups (1.25 quarts or 40 fl oz) of delicious bacon grease right out of the pan. Made of stainless steel, use it in the kitchen as a grease trap and cooking oil filter to catch drips.
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

It is just as advertised.

You can't find anything perfect. it's a fact. BUT, if you want something that can help you get BETTER, this will work. My 85 year old dad, who KNOWS not to pour grease down the drain, still does it because it's easier than finding a good alternative. I wanted to get angry, but then I realized I had to offer a better option than just being angry. This product is a very good option to solve my problem (doesn't make me angry but helps with fat that doesn't go down the drain. :)

Pros
  • Get your hands on bacon grease with this bacon grease container. This cooking oil container has a curved, comfortable handle that fits your hand well and heats up less. Ideal for storing bacon and butter for a regular, keto or paleo diet.
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Quality with thoughtful design

A quality product that has worked well in my kitchen. Two aspects of its design are of particular value in my opinion. First, the top is wider than most similar containers, making it much easier to pour bacon grease into the container without hitting the rim or running out of the outer rim. Second, the wire filter is designed to capture very fine debris and particles as the mesh is fine and uniform in design. In addition, the mesh screen is very easy to remove and wash. The design is excellent,

Pros
  • A simple, old-fashioned design that works. Use a hidden strainer to trap any particles and a small spout to make pouring easier. The lid fits over the mesh screen and canister to keep the dispenser looking clean. With this metal jug you can clean your fryer without throwing away the oil every time.
Cons
  • not reliable

Answers! suitable for kitchen utensils and gadgets

In fact, this is the sixth purchase. I love mine so much I'm buying them for everyone I know! This is the best way to save fat from bacon! I keep it on the counter by the stove and use the saved bacon fat for cooking. Delicious! But please cook bacon on the stovetop or in the oven, NOT in the microwave. Get this bacon grease holder! It's great, easy to use and the price is great! And in case I didn't use up the lube fast enough, I threw the lube in the trash, washed the container, dried it, and

Pros
  • Taste like mom. Fry delicious bacon, then drain excess fat through a sieve straight into the trap. Now you can add bacon flavor to popcorn, eggs, pancakes, cookies or whatever. Hey bacon!
Cons
  • Reliability
