Nice looking thermometer.

It's nice to have a fuel gauge again. Seems to work well and I love the built in Jeep logo, nice touch. I don't care about the plastic holder, it's hard to get it out after threading the wires.

Made on Autometer. for Gauge

Installed on my 1987 Jeep to replace a broken Phantom Autometer gauge. Much to my surprise, this gauge was also made by Autometer. Direct replacement for any 90 ohm transmitter unit. So far, so good. I can swap out the rest of the sensors to match.

Very easy and quick to install

This is the first fuel gauge I have found with a 100 ohm fuel gauge in my 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Such a relief to be able to read the fuel level accurately. Very easy and quick to install. Excellent quality and highly recommended.

Pros
  • Gauges
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

No more fuel level jumping!

After replacing the stock fuel supply, gauge and instrument panel in my 87 YJ the fuel gauge still jumped. I decided to completely abandon the factory sensors and chose Auto Meter. My fuel gauge is now so smooth and consistent and looks so much better! One of the best old Jeep upgrades I've ever done!

  • Fuel
Cons
  • Good but not great
