Works for Mercruiser 383, 7 liter gas boat

Indispensable for boats where getting a jump the traditional way is challenging at best. I have a 28 foot cruiser that had three large dead batteries. Would not start with all three even after charging overnight. I tried the AutoGen 4000 out of the box which indicated 80% charge. Hooked it up in "boost" mode and . NO GO! It wasn't really a fair test so I charged with wall adapter till full . about three hours. This time IT WORKED! Furthermore, the next day I tried it again without re-charging…

Impressed! best in my review

This has been a life saver! I have jumped several batteries, even ones that were completely dead, with the boost feature. The largest vehicle was a 5.7 Hemi Dodge Ram, so I can't speak to anything larger. Also just a great back up battery bank for charging smartphones, lanterns, etc.

Great unit & does what it's intended to do, but not exactly for my purpose

I bought this in hopes that it would supply enough power to run jack stands on 5th wheel RV's as I move them from Mfg yard to our transport yards. I suspected it may not give continuous power for the duration of running those jacks up/down and I was right. It would only give about 10secs of power at a time causing too much delay for my purpose. Stopped Charging: my feedback

My Autogen was working very well until last week when I pluged it in to charge. It won't charge. The 2nd Blue light flashes none stop and never moves to the 3rd or 4th blue LED. Afraid it's Kaput! I'ts about 1 and half years old used mostly for phone charging on the road. Is it busted or is there a fix?

7.3 diesel with dead batteries temperature was 40 deg turned the starter over like it had two good batteries in it . Impressive

Worked great on first try.held charge at 98% after use!

So my 2011 Vw was showing signs of a weak battery even knowing my battery load tester said it was acceptable. finally with sub zero weather this week it decided not to start.
