Old car runs like new

They tuned my 2014 Mazda cx5 that had 100,000 miles on it. The car was a bit sluggish in first gear and now with new spark plugs it starts like new!

Pros
  • Engineered for greater overall durability, virtually no gap erosion for longer spark plug life
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

2014 Subaru Forester XT is not compatible with these

I installed them on my 2014 Subaru Forester XT. The car didn't get along with them at all. A few days later the car barely started. Misfires like crazy. Spark plugs removed and checked for gap. Same result. After about two weeks I rushed after NGK. No more problems, the car drives great. I wouldn't expect changing fork brands to cause this problem, but now I know from experience.

Pros
  • Installation type: vehicle-specific
Cons
  • unreliable

Incredible value! for spark plugs

Did a "friendly inspection" at Firestone, they reminded me my Mazda 3 needed a 75k spark plug change (must be platinum). After looking up the part number in the service manual, he turned up on the Revain with $30 PER PLUG! The Firestone was priced around $120, so they may have gotten it from a Mazda dealer. A look at the Autolite website just to make sure it's the correct connector confirms. However, I had to smash them; They were all around 1.0mm and the spec for my machine is 1.0 to 1.2mm so…

Pros
  • Fixed engine seat gasket and union nut
Cons
