I use them on over half a dozen of my cars. I also use one of these to keep the battery going that runs my 8000w generator. From time to time I check the condition of the battery, this charger keeps the battery in excellent condition.

I use this to charge the car battery in a car that is slowly draining due to the secondary security system and electric door system. I just plug it in every few days depending on how much the machine is being used (and charging) or not being used (and slowly draining). It was a very reliable and inexpensive solution to my situation.

So far this is still my favorite charger for long term relationships. I can store my truck every 6 months. Batteries are 8 years old. Best investment so far. I have bought 5 so far to use with lawnmower, boat and RV batteries. It may look and feel cheap, but it has never let me down. I highly recommend this product.

This float charger is definitely recommended! Very happy with it. I bought two of these because I have both an SUV and a 4-wheeler that sit idle without use for a long time (then end up dead when I start them). They work great, are nice and compact (which is a big plus for me) and do exactly what they're supposed to. No more dead batteries here! Couldn't be happier, especially for the price!

I wish I'd taken a closer look at the equipment. I have purchased the same units from Harbor Freight and they have not had a good experience with them. They don't hold a battery. I've had a Battery Tender on a truck battery for a few months and every time I went there it was at 13.8v and it started right away. Last week I removed the Battery Tender and turned on the Cen-Tech and today the batteries are dead. They end up in the garbage and I pay extra for the battery tenders.

Battery is illiterate and bought it to charge a car battery as I don't drive much and it often runs out! This little device seems to work as intended and keeps my battery going. The wiring/cables can be a bit longer and the small clamps (as others have noted) are difficult to spread far enough to clamp the battery bolts. They really should be bigger.
