Depends on the size of the pig.

Bought 2, I used 1 per 80lb pig, no problem. The other one I have is a man and woman who weigh about 160 pounds, the hull lasted less than 24 hours before they broke it up. You should probably say "pigs" in your description. If it hadn't broke so quickly I would have given it 5 stars.

Works best with horses

Purchased for my Nigerian pygmy goats. I wasn't sure if they would figure out how to use it, but after a few weeks of use they're still alive, so I'm guessing they're drinking. Excellent quality, durable, does not take up much space. Easy to connect. There are no buckets to tip over and clean. No wasted water. As long as I like it!

  • Feeding and Watering Accessory
Cons
  • Available in Black only

Not suitable for dogs

I bought this hoping it would fit a large dog. The black tube to be pushed through the animal's nose is too heavy for the dog. Also finding a hose adapter for it is a BIG problem. The Lowe only had a white plastic option (in the plumbing sprinkler department. Yes, I spent a lot of time looking for one) and even though it fit and screwed tight, it still leaked. Why a manufacturer would use a 1/2" hose connector when the most common garden hose is a 5/8" is beyond me! Perhaps the brass that shows
