It's easy to use, although if you're a newbie you might have to google the result or ask someone who knows the meaning of the code even after they've told you some description. Oddly it can't read my VIN for the 3 Toyotas I've tried (not supported) in the 97-07 range. Some have more data stream than others. Overall, this probably saves you the trouble of going to the store to read the code if you ever come across it.

Very painless. And after searching the code for an explanation of the problem, I found that it is the thermostat that is not allowing the engine to reach the correct temperature. So you can see that finding the problem that occurs due to error codes is extremely helpful in diagnosis. This little device saved me over $100 on my first day. Thanks to TOPDON, a great troubleshooting tool.

I bought it primarily to check and clear engine codes and for only $22 or so which is a lot for what it is. I give it 5 stars because it's a great product that works well, but I would give it 10 stars if I could if they had their own download app specifically for this product. Does what it's supposed to and easy to use. I used to take my 2002 Highlander to a parts store to get the trouble code. A possible cause of this trouble code was a loose gas cap. I inspected the cap and found that the seal was broken, so I ordered another gas cap along with this reader. I plugged in the reader and it gave the same error code as the parts store. I then followed the instructions to clean up the code and it worked like a charm.

I finally got an error code on my 2011 Honda Odyssey for the ABS light. I tried to diagnose the problem but the CS320 couldn't find it. I thought during setup that it would recognize my machine, but I'm not sure if that will work. There were no detailed instructions on how to use it, so I contacted the manufacturer directly. I was unable to contact the manufacturer based in China. The next step is to get a Revain support decision. We recommend that you test the device as soon as you receive it.

I'm happy with what it can do. I can upgrade to Torque Pro just to get the latest scanner functionality. I chose this scanner because the reviews were good and reviews from reviewers of this and other products noted the patchy quality control found on many of the cheaper devices available.
