The top and bottom parts were unscrewed from each other when they arrived, but you can't just screw them on. So now they are unevenly distributed, making them dangerous as candlesticks. Also, screwing in puts the bases in the wrong position compared to the tops, so they don't look right.

I've used them a few times with different types of oil. They're good - you can unscrew the whole thing and really clean it to reuse. I love it. I really like that the wick hole is big enough to fit homemade wicks. I will for sure buy more. I read other reviews where people had defective lamps. I haven't had this problem.

They are definitely handmade and very beautiful. I just got this, dip the wicks in canola oil, oh and give it to them. Here you can see one of them up close and the other just behind it. I like you very much. I like to light a candle in the evenings when I'm relaxing at home. It will certainly be a very welcome and heartfelt experience. I recommend them to anyone looking for an oil candle lamp. The fact that I can use oil or crisco in it is a plus.

Beautiful golden color to brass. Excellent value for money and quality. Whenever you need to change the wick, you need to pour the oil into the 2nd vessel, wash the lamp with soap by unscrewing everything very quickly, replace the wick THEN reassemble, pour the oil back into the lamp and then wash the 2nd vessel. I sleep a lot better with one of these things on all night. It will take at least one overnight refill, but it does hold a fair amount of oil. More than any of my current lamps. Love…
